While the homeowners immediatly adjacent to the line will undoubtly see their home values fall, those in the rest of the neighborhood would see theirs rise due to the vicinity (but not too close) to mass transit. I would not run trains at night as a fair concession to those would would literally hear trains running in their back yards. |
