Yes I know about the A train, I take it all the time, not to mention I pass by everyday. What I was thinking is maybe using that elevated structure and maybe it can go underground and go through and make some valuable connections.Personally, I say it still has a lot potential to be a transit line. The MTA just has to think outside of the box and do something with it. They should survey and create a full route or just a shuttle. I agree the cleanup would cost a lot being that they left it to pretty much crumble but the MTA should stop looking at Manhattan and start looking in Queens. This can benefit them if they think things right. (Also they can fine those people who parked/dumped a ton of school buses on the track and tryed to cover it up, that can pay a little of the tab) :) |
