Im not totally against a multi-use trail, however how about a trail and a light rail line? Why would any (sane) property owner object to a neighborhood improvment??? I dont see how property values wouldnt increase as the ROW is an eyesore as is. http://local.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&cp=qsfn6b8vcmmk&style=o&lvl=1&scene=1995012With a little track reconfiguration you could have a double track ROW (and still have your linear park) from Howard Beach or Aqueduct to somewhere in on Queens Blvd somewhere between 63rd Drive and 55th Ave. |
