I don't think calling the police pigs or any other name is theright thing to do, these men and women put their lives on the line every time they put on that uniform, they're doing a job like every one else here does. if it wasnt for the police this country's cities would be hell on earth, just because these men and women get their orders from " above " just like transit workers do it's not their fault, yes some can be a little more rational I agree, except for these " rent a cops " these police are under extreme pressure from all sides and to call them names is not right. it's like someone spitting a C/R in the face because he or she doesn't get into a subway car in time .... same thing it's an insult and I think we as adults should take this into account, just my thoughts on this whole thing, we're loosing our rights in America and we're not doing anything about it except calling the police pigs, way to go. It may be if they were "under orders," perhaps they have a supervisor who doesn't care what the laws are and doesn't want it done for whatever reason (like I would have done for an episode in The Law & Order Franchise where such supervisor ordered such even as a violation of the rules due to pressure from relatives who lost loved ones in the London and Madrid train bombings a few years ago for example). |
