For the last 2 days I haven't seen any R46 AA cars on the road on the F/R/V. Yesterday morning, I did see 6194/95/97/96 in V service. All the other 4 car sets from 6126 to 6202 should be at Pitkin. After the AM rush it did lay-up, but not to Jamaica Yard, rather downstairs at Continental in a spot where it would re-emerge as a V for the PM rush. I did not see that set today however. |

All of the A-A sets of R-46 cars should be at Pitkin now.6194-97 will stay at Jamaica for the near future. This set has a third air compressor in one of the B cars as a test. I gather once the testing is over with, that set will be transferred to Pitkin. One R-40 slant is still in service. The other train has been removed for reefing. The train that is still in service is as follows: From the south: 4432/33, 4256/57, 4399/98, 4414/15, 4424/25. |

Got back from going to Hoyt St. for my workforce 1 appointment today.Didn't get a slant but I did get a chance to go to the Transit Museum and at least this cheered up my day after going to WF1 for nothing today :( The guess cars in exhibition today...to my surprise was...the REDBIRDS!!! Ran into the cars and started playing around with the scrolls changing it from the 4 to the 7 and setting the signs up on 2 - 3 cars for 42nd St. Time Square and Shea Stadium :) It was like being reunited with an old friend again after missing out on the exhibition back in 2005 . |

One more thing was that they were there as temporary exhibition due to the vintage cars being out on the road for a trip and probably maintenance maybe?Saw a note about it on the stand.
