I suggested that the AA cars be used on the Rock Park shuttle, but TD implied that these would be assigned to 207 barn rather than Pitkin (although we don't know when, but sometime down the road) since 2/4 car units of 75' cars can't fit in that barn for inspection/troubles. An ABBA and AA will fit on a barn track fine. This is needed once all old 60' cars are gone.

Sure they can be ran on the shuttle and swapped with an A train to make it's way up to 207 barn in service for periodic mileage inspection, but the problem comes in when an AAAA consist goes bad on the road in between inspection cycles (or in the case of 6207 a ABAA consist) and it has to go to the yard. Pitkin would not repair a car that belongs to 207, unless extreme emergency that the car can't get up there. There are barn space issues and more importantly budgets at work. Budgets to repair your own cars. Budgets that they don't want to send the Rock Park switchman to 207 since he'd be gone all day, or excessive overtime would be required if he has to go all the way up there if his shift was close to ending.
