No 38's have been gotten rid of yet, Jamaica Phase II R32's are in the process of being reefed. R40 (slants) are being reefed too. CI GOH R42's are virtually all reefed. Pitkin Phase I's are taking their place in Jamaica. Time will tell as to how the puzzle will be completed. |

Going to 207th St is about as close to they will probably get to running in numbers on the A route.Ideally, I'd like to see them keep at least a trainset or two to showcase the most inefficient front-end design in the history of rolling stock so far as I'm concerned. |

I have no idea. All I can say is that for a period of time I walked by them nightly in 207 barn and I did not see fire or body damage, just messy on the interior as the cars were stripped for parts. Only a person from car equipment has the access to that answer. As far as RTO is concerned, CED tells RTO to hold the cars. |

The museum should keep, IMO, one pair of slants and restore the front end of at least one of the cars to "as built" condition to display one of the most futuristic and coolest looking front ends designs in the history of rolling stock so far as I'm concerned. |
