Petticoat Junction (which keeps this on-topic, thanks to the Hooterville Cannonball!) was spun off from the Beverly (not Beverley) Hillbillies, and Green Acres was spun off from Petticoat Junction.

Yes, they even gave her her own show, but it was quickly cancelled. 227 came on about a year after The Jeffersons ended.

I thought that show was called "Florence" but I guess that's just what I called it. It was actually called "Checking In". I remember that she played the same character as on the Jeffersons and got a job at a hotel in charge of housekeeping. Her boss was Larry Linville who had just left M*A*S*H. I remember that he played a graduate of Colgate University because she made some crack about his degree and toothpaste. According to the IMDb she left that series and returned to the Jeffersons until it went off the air.

BMT RULES!!!!! (Especially the former Eastern Division). Remember, before there was an IND and before there was an IRT there WAS the BRT which was the predecessor of the BMT....Crooklyn was home to the original excursion railroads that became the Southern Division of the BMT. No close second....BMT IS NUMERO UNO!

I don't believe that they're mutually exclusive. The character was clearly autistic, but had some areas of ability far beyond the norm, making him what's commonly known as an idiot savant. Also, autism is a medical diagnosis that covers a pretty broad spectrum, ranging from being unable to read cues and therefore not able to react socially appropriately (something that is noticeable in certain unnamed members of the Subchat community), to complete incapacity to interact with the outside world at all. "Idiot savant" is more of an archaic term to describe certain patterns of behavior that are sometimes found in autistic individuals.
