Two posts can grow to four, eight, sixteen posts in a matter of days on that site if the moderator doesn't watch out. I suspect the moderator saw that was going to happen. Considering the traffic that the LIRR forum gets in relation to the MNRR forum a LIRR post in that forum can grow out of proportion and take over a great thread, I have seen it happen to other threads and it's not pretty. The moderator did what he had to do, it might not be popular but it's his job to do that.

I was blunt in my reply so I will be nicer in this one. The complaints you are making come out of your own experiences that are largely due in fact to abusing slack given by moderators to take jabs at slightly related topics and at officials that you hold a grudge against. The moderators spotted that on the spot and shut the threads down quickly. It's their job, preempting a situation before it gets out of hand and keeping things on topic rather than deviating way off topic as the threads were clearly bound for. It's not their job to keep everyone happy, they see a potential problem and they act. One complaint from you is better than dozens of complaints from members reading a thread that has gone out of control. Might not be popular but it's better than dealing with dozens of problems over a span of a day or two or three.

Well, I didn't use my regular email address I used at subtalk, because I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to get spam, so I used an old email address I care less about, as I hadn't used it in a while. I never got an ounce of spam on the address I used at SubTalk, and wanted to keep it that way (except when all those viruses were around).
After a few weeks I'd probably use my nornal "forum" email address again here if all works out.
Glad you are feeling better. It seems like it's been a long road for you. Hopefully you will be back to normal soon.

If you like them their cousins on the Orange Line are exactly the same in setup inside but lose the "railfan" window and are longer. Still worth the ride though, even if you can't see out the front.

And the good news is if the new Blue Line cars are a hit PATH will have their models for their new fleet(minus the electronics on top)!

Construction at Bergen interlocking switches that prevented the F from using the tracks south of Jay Street. Since the G merges with the F, after the interlocking, the G was the most logical choice to serve F stations from Smith 9th to Stillwell.

If that's not crazy enough, the F actually went to Euclid Ave on the A/C line that weekend.

Hey Chris, this is as close to the real thing as possible, and though I have made comments in the past about the so called "thought police" I'm not so sure after what happened at Subtalk we wouldn't be doing all of ourselves a service by keeping on the alert in case someone or two or three try to sabotage this website. Dave had his fill and decided to check out. We have to make sure that all railfanners have a website to keep in touch with rail events and to keep in touch with each other. I hope to blazes that no one spoils it for the rest of us.
