Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this near or at a location of a Robert Moses camp of Quonset Huts?

It really is remarkable how quickly PATH recovered and resumed service.

All three of my 1948 Hagstrom's subway maps still show the Canarsie Shuttle. They also show the Court St. stub.

I forget the details but I've owned Hagstrom atlases that showed facilities (roads and trains) that didn't exist then and have never existed since. :)

PATH did a great job getting the trains back. But this is New York City. We don't sit on our asses waiting for FEMA to show up. We roll up our sleeves and get down to business.
