This is the last day of operation of the Canarsie Shuttle trolley line. These cars ran along the former rapid transit right-of-way between the Rockaway Parkway subway station and the Canarsie Shore.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this near or at a location of a Robert Moses camp of Quonset Huts?
