The passageway itself isn't as long as I thought it would be.7th Ave to 6th is about 1000'. The 6-car trains are 300' long and probably stop about 200' short of 7th Ave. So maybe 500' or half the distance from 6th to 7th. |

The east end of the trains at GCT is pretty much were it used to be, right?So now the east end, instead of being 300' from 7th Ave, is maybe 500'. So 200' of extra walking in return for (we hope) capacity improvement and lower hold time in each station. Also no futzing around heading for a train that pulls out before you get to it. |

So if you come in on track 4 it is a lot easier. And track 1 is only slightly longer, actually 3 cars longer since it now is behind where the end used to be. That's 150' |
