Riding the line requires passengers to use a second platform at PBBP that has no street access, mainline BART trains must double stop. |

DMUs are quiet and smooth, but with some side-to-side sway. Lots of brake smell. Bolt-upright, minimally-upholstered seats. PA almost unintelligible. Stadler DMU's are everywhere business seems to be booming for them.To be honest, the past decade or so has been pretty good to them, and they went from being a small company making a few custom made Swiss projects to one of the largest players in the industry. Thanks to some mergers and acquisitions, they now have a full catalog of rolling stock from trams to mainline railway regional and intercity rolling stock. |
