I rode it this afternoon. DMUs are quiet and smooth, but with some side-to-side sway. Lots of brake smell. Bolt-upright, minimally-upholstered seats. PA almost unintelligible. I hope the engineered this with a wide-enough ROW for eventual conversion to through operation.
