Nice to see the rare GE 80 & 50 tonners,
i.e. most were at 44 tons because that allowed RxR to do away with one crewman.

I was there before the start of the 2004 "season", when the previous operator did not have their lease renewed and was moving out. I asked if I could look around and they pretty much said "knock yourself out", so I spent a day poking around and taking pictures.

Ramp on cribbing for loading rolling stock onto trailers for removal:


Devil's Gate High Bridge from a number of unusual angles:




One of the issues dating back to the re-creation of the bridge was that the concrete bases should be finished in stone to match the original appearance, and that the diagonal anchor cables be replicated, even though not needed to support the new bridge. This is one of the original 1884 bridge anchor points:
