Posted by chuchubob on Fri Jul 22 11:53:16 2016 Elevation 8000 to over 9000 feet in Clear Creek County, Colorado.West Side Lumber Shea #9 crossing Devil's Gate Bridge over Clear Creek  entering the passing siding to run around the train at Georgetown  Diesel assistance for the up hill trip to Silver Plume: 80-tonner GLRX 1203  Silver Plume  44-tonner  50-tonner  entering Devil's Creek Bridge arriving Georgetown  departing Georgetown  sanding the oil burner's flues  taking on water at Silver Plume  GRLX 1203 moving light to Georgetown to assist in the next up hill run to Silver Plume  drifting down hill  moving under Devil's Gate Bridge to complete the loop before starting the up hill run to Silver Plume  up hill to Silver Plume   I forgot to add "PHOTOS" to the title of my Union Pacific 844 in Denver post. |
