Quick question: Does anybody have a resource that would tell me when the different portions of the Staten Island Railway were grade-separated? I think the North Shore branch might've been grade-separated back in the 1920s when it was electrified, and I see the date "1937" on the overpass at Eltingville, which suggests that part of the Main Line was grade-separated as a public works project.

Go to this website, which has info about the SIR's grade separation history:

Except that it lists the last grade separation project as being Grant City, New Dorp, Oakwood Heights. That is incorrect. It was Jefferson Avenue, Grant City, New Dorp.
