Posted by checkmatechamp13 on Sun Oct 19 03:02:21 2014 Quick question: Does anybody have a resource that would tell me when the different portions of the Staten Island Railway were grade-separated? I think the North Shore branch might've been grade-separated back in the 1920s when it was electrified, and I see the date "1937" on the overpass at Eltingville, which suggests that part of the Main Line was grade-separated as a public works project. |
