Due to signal problems at 149 St-3 Av, the following service changes are in effect:

There is no 2 and 5 train service in both directions from 149 St-Grand Concourse to E 180 St.

Select northbound 2 trains are terminating at 96 St or 135 St.

As an alternative, customers are advised to take Bx4 or Bx19 buses making nearby station stops.

Shuttle train service is being provided between Eastchester-Dyre Av to E 180 St in both directions

Shuttle train service is being provided between 241 St-Wakefield to E 180 St in both directions.

Allow additional travel time.

Power outage in 149 St-3 Av area.

At about 3:09pm the MTA Website was reporting that there was a G.O. planned for today, where Bronx-bound #2 and #5 trains were running to express from 149th Street-Third Avenue to East 180th Street, and for riders to take downtown trains for the by-passed stations.

Was the "power outage" problem rectified fairly early?
