Since the line was built on the bones of two railroads (The Northern Central on the north end and the Baltimore and Annapolis on the south end, so the cars are more railroad than streetcars. |

The LRVs on the Baltimore system do not change their characteristics because of the track that they run on. Would you care to clarify that statement? As stated, it makes little sense. |

The cars are the size they have is because the north and south parts are built on the bones of two railroads and have railroad clearances. |

The cars are railroad size, not streetcar size. They are 2 section articulated cars. A three car train is a city block long. They are called LRVs but light weight they are not. Since operations began in 1992 there have been 15 LRV vs automobiles/trucks and the LRV's win every time. The MTA has two small locomotives for emergency work that can only handle 1 LRV at a time. |

The color balance was actually good. Just a tweak of midtone and contrast was all that was needed, and it was not any big adjustments. Again, the picture as it was did not look that bad at all. |

They are called LRVs but light weight they are not.The "light" in "light rail" has always referred to capacity, not weight. Since operations began in 1992 there have been 15 LRV vs automobiles/trucks and the LRV's win every time. Has there ever been a crash involving LRVs anywhere where the LRV didn't "win"? |

The cars are railroad size, not streetcar size. They are 2 section articulated cars. A three car train is a city block long. From what I've found online, they do not seem to be significantly larger than other modern LRVs. They may be wider than many/most and longer than many, but but not longer than all. They seem to pretty much look like LRVs, not heavy rail cars. |
