Yes, but again, these are jam packed full length trains. (Often 8 cars of full double deckers) that run to Montauk on Friday summers and the busiest weekends being Labor day and Memorial day....Fridays.
It's the majority of the Montauk branch's ridership.
And it's hardly discrecionary when it's the last weekend of your summer rental that you paid tens of thousands of dollars for (and often over hundred). The season ends on Labor day weekend.
