Most families and people *do* drive out to the Hamptons for the summer, but once there, papa must still commute into the city, and the kids (and the wife if she can get it away from them) will drive the car.So the Family was already out at the point, and Papa is stuck in Speonk. Oh well, one of the kids can drive to Speonk and fetch him. They all got cell phones now, andthey can arrange that.
