The crazy thing is, the same thing happened in Bushwick. I remember when it was announced in the early 2000's that a hotel was bing built upstairs at the Halsey St station on Wyckoff Ave. There was a whole thread about it here, and how hilarious that was.It's not "funny" anymore....as the neighborhood wave of gentrification has slowly trickled there and caught up with it. They did their market research. |
