Ahh yes - I agree O Winston Link was the greatest rail photographer. However, Fred does come very close considering the equipment we as hobbyists have at our disposal.Lets not forget that Mr Link spent hours setting up the shots, including multiple flash units (42 of them for one picture, possibly even more for others). MTA police would really let us get away with that - they barely tolerate a hand-held camera :) I'm sure the MTA may allow a staged shot but at a fee that would price it beyond the ability of anyone who posts here. |
