And I never knew whether or not a physical connection to the outside rail network was ever relevant, AFAIK it isn't. If it was, than a LOT of rapid transit systems who do have physical connections to the outside rail network directly, including NYCT (NYCH/NYAR at Linden Yard and the SBK at Ninth Avenue) would have to be governed by FRA regulations. |
