The 1924 map shows the remains of Ebbets Field's predecessor, Washington Park, on between First and Third Streets and Third and Fourth Avenues. The field is gone, two of Con Ed's current buildings are standing in left field on the corner of Third and Third, but the grandstand is still there. Pretty amazing website! |
