My concern is people believing somehow that because of this, they're something less than they were before in their own eyes. I'm mainly concerned that folks are going to believe all this ... and lower their own value as a result.Quite the opposite for me. For I was blamed for all of my problems (mainly being different, having difficulty relating to people, not being able to concentrate on certain things as well as on interests, the motor skills issue--learning to tie my shoes, handwriting, etc). But now we know the reason. I feel much better about myself. And I've always liked my unique outlooks. |
