Mind you, it's not an issue for AMTK, and I doubt that it would even be an issue for MNCR except that they view PSA as sufficiently unlikely that they figure (rationally), why bother with a heavier trainset for something that mightn't ever be?I'd argue that given that it's going to be a few peak runs at most, it may simply be easier just to run a few ALP-46 loco-hauled sets to New Haven for a limited number of runs à la the football specials... |
