That too!! As long as the "Long Island Railroad" name has been around, I would hate to see it lost as well, given I grew up near and along the LIRR, first railroad train I ever rode (Far Rockaway Branch), first railfanning I ever did as a kid (in order....Morris Park Yard, Kew Gardens Station & Jamaica Station), first trains I ever took photos of with a Kodak film camera and thensome. I'd hate to see the name go away too!! |
