Oh yeah, because people were horrendously racist to some completely different minority in the past, we have to keep reminding their children and grandchildren even to the tenth generation that they're the progeny of awful sinful people who were born to be racists.

The only way of getting over racism is how it was done with the Irish: by viewing it all as a big joke, and then collectively realizing that the stereotypes perpetuated by the jokes weren't really true.
