'but no-one objects to "Brits".'Actually, I'm not enamoured of that term, though I use it here out of courtesy to the Yanks (8-) ! I regard myself as English, though I'm probably part Anglo-saxon and part Celt (Cornish). I think that 'Britain' is a somewhat artificial construct. It's occasionally said that the only people who call themselves 'British' are people who aren't..... |
