'Now if they could go ahead with one of the plans and re-open Primrose Hill...'We don't really know yet what the long-term plans for services over the London Overground network might be. The line through Primrose Hill was used not long ago when the DC Lines into Euston were closed for engineering work, and a Watford Junction-Stratford service via Primrose Hill ran as a replacement, though not stopping at the derelict station there - which has since been demolished. In my opinion, the best thing would be to make that the regular service, but open a new station at a slightly different location to facilitate interchange with Chalk Farm (Northern Line) station, for the benefit of passengers trying to reach Euston. |
