It definately will affect (4) & (5) service because of the crossover at Brooklyn Bridge that (6) trains would have to take. But either way, sending the (6) to South Ferry wouldn't do much because Bowling Green is right there at South Ferry (just a short block or two walk).Its service to the West Side that is being lost at South Ferry. What the MTA would have to do is either send people to the (4) or (5) at Bowling Green and take a train to Fulton Street to transfer there for a (1) or (2), or reopen old South Ferry to the (5) so that people wouldn't crowd onto packed (4) trains. |
