There *SHOULD* be more vendors and shops on the subway, as there are almost none as compared to ages ago. New lease agreements would require such establishments to provide tables for eating; trash receptacles; clean restrooms; employees to clean the general vicinity of their shops as defined by the MTA in the lease agreement. With a clean spacious place, safe and well lighted, people may linger there to eat, instead of taking their food onto the subway. In any event, product lines should be selected so as to not leave food scraps on the trains. Ergo, no chicken or ribs unless boneless, no packages that are intended to be eaten out of, such as dishes of slaw or rice.ROAR |
