This is why we need a change in our nation's laws. If someone files a lawsuit like this, the judge should have the right to force them to pay the defendant’s legal expenses if the jury verdict is 'not guilty'.Seriously, people have no idea how much money is wasted by companies having to fight frivolous lawsuits - the lawyers are getting rich and the rest of us pay through higher prices for goods and services. |
