I can't believe that no one's pointed out the bellmouth on the local track just past the northbound platform at 145th St. on the 8th Avenue Line. Obviously, it was a provision to allow trains on the upper level to be sent to the Concourse Line. That seems pretty pointless; wonder why it was built . . .
