There was never any interest or money to save at least some of each scrapped fleet of cars. Where would they be kept, how would they be maintained, etc. At least in the post Transit Museum era an effort seems to be made to save something for future railfans to enjoy.Will at least two cars from all future scrapped fleets be saved?? I'll really feel old when the R46s are in the museum fleet. |
