Loved them on the A as it was a guaranteed fun ride. I also have fond memories of them making those local stop sprints on the AA with 4-car trains. Of course there's the 4th Ave express on the B.The Mods were cool too, but always hated mixed consists and on the D where all 100 of them stayed for years - you could always find them mixed with R-42s. One thing for sure is that the R-40s are ALREADY missed! |
