I remember when I was a kid and before the extra "hardware" was added to the ends of the R40s. They were either running as an E or F. The look of them and the end doors looked like something from the future and outer space as I told my parents (my father was a TO after starting out as a conductor). It is my favorite car style and I do miss them. |
