I don't think the combination of comprehensive, legible, and to scale has ever been accomplished before.I think the way yards are represented with the line bullets is misleading; e.g., it looks like the Rockaway Park Shuttle goes to Euclid Avenue by looking at the map. Also, rush-hour A service to Rockaway Park is described only in the legend and not on the map, but rush hour 2/4/5 service to New Lots is on the map and not on the legend. I think a single blob for station complexes would work better than individual blobs connected by lines, but that's personal preference. |
