We are paying though the nose for oxygen companies to pick up virtually full tanks and replace them with new tanks while the local drugstore sells mini tanks for 1 tenth of the cost that are perfect for most people. Without penalties for people who abuse their bodies such a a system does not work. DOCTORS IN europe are substandard to us doctors. We need to PUT CAPS ON MALPRACTICE LIABILITY and PUNISH LAWYERS WHO bring fake suits that drive up cost. OBOMA does not want to do this. I am all for cutting pollution but the policies you are calling for just don't work. Allow off shore drilling off florida and california but tax it at the same rate the the arabs do and use that money to fund research on batteries and money for apartment houses and coops to install electric meters, install charging stations for electic cars They need to go after low hanging fruit to pollution savings such as the lirr shutting off thier diesil locos in afternoon, nyct running short trains overnight and no artics after 10 pm. Pollution savings that don't drown the economy 50 years ago the US had no compition Europe was still recovering Asian was not industrialized We were the only game in town. not any more and we need to remember this when we make changes and ban torture, prosecute those who ordered it, did it, and covered for it, and reaffirm that anyone accused of wrongdoing is entitled to a fair trial (policies so obvious that anybody who opposes them is almost certainly an idiot or malicious).
