Amtrak out of there is slow.79 mph, no electric, slug acceleration. Makes saving up for next year for Europe seem like a bright idea. Oh, to see at least AEM-7s running in and out of Union Station; that would be a victory of sorts. While I'm quite fond the the greatest locomotive in American history, I'd kill to see the Taurus spec EuroSprinters from Siemens. |
