John Montone definitely IS a bozo. He makes us NYers look like a bunch of ignorant, shallow slobs. Once, a cow escaped one of those backstreet Halal slaughterhouses, and there was Montone, asking eight-year-olds, "Did you see the cow? What did it look like? What color was it?" and this was supposed to pass for news. There was another such "golden" incident I can't remember right now, but his questions are inane at best. Every upset, every irritation, every offbeat "You can't make this stuff up" report, there he is, butting in asking people who otherwise couldn't or shouldn't give a damn their opinion on the passing scene. And since he's not asking well-versed actors, you get ditzwad answers worthy of a vacuous Californian valley girl. Shmuck. |
