I'm surprised that we don't have a spate of new tunnel building, both rail and road, what with the advent of TBMs. (Thought that TBMs made tunnel-building cheaper? We're overdue for "New York Union Station" . . . might as well have all commuter trains going to Manhattan, eh? and for cheaper capital cost than THAT project, i.e. ARC) |
