Howard, what do you mean by "supposedly"? As if you don't believe that there are low platforms on NJ Transit? Well, let me give you a list of all of the low platforms at NJ Transit:

RVL: Garwood, Fanwood, Netherwood, Dunellen, Bound Brook, Bridgewater, Somerville, Raritan, North Branch, White House, Lebanon, Annandale, and High Bridge.

Northeast Corridor: Jersey Avenue.

Coast Line: Perth Amboy, South Amboy, Little Silver, Allenhurst, Bradley Beach, Belmar, Spring Lake, Manasquan, and Bay Head.

M&E: East Orange, Brick Church, Orange, Highland Ave, Mountain Station, South Orange, Maplewood, Millburn, Short Hills, Chatham, Madison, Convent Station, Morristown, Morris Plains, Mount Tabor, Denville, Lake Hoptacong, Netcong, Mount Olive, Hackettstown.

Gladstone Branch: New Providence, Murray Hill, Berkely Heights, Gilette, Stirling, Millington, Lyons, Basking Ridge, Bernardsville, Far Hills, and Peapack.

Montclair/Boonton Line: Watsessing Ave, Bloomfield, Glen Ridge, Walnut Street, Watchung Ave, Upper Montclair, Mountain Ave, Great Notch, Little Falls, Lincoln Park, and Mountain Lakes (there might be more, not sure whether the others are low or high).

Main Line: Kingsland, Lyndhurst, Delawana, Passaic, Clifton, Paterson, Hawthorne, Glen Rock, Ridgewood, Ho-Ho-Kus, Waldwick, Allendale, Ramsey, Mahwah, Suffern.

Bergen County Line: Rutherford, Garfield, Plauderville, Broadway-Fair Lawn, Radburn, Glen Rock.

Pascack Valley: Wood-Ridge, Teterboro, Essex Street, Anderson Street, New Bridge Landing, River Edge, Oradell, Emerson, Westwood, Hillsdale, Woodcliff Lake, Park Ridge, Montvale, Pearl River, Nanuet, Spring Valley.


All of the above are low platforms at NJ Transit rail stations, circa June 8th, 2009.
