I live in Bayside, Queens and my Co-op apt faces the Port Washington ROW....do you think I am going complain about noise to the LIRR? Give me a break. Before I signing on the dotted line, I knew what I was getting into. For a while the weekends were quiet times but then a few years ago the LIRR added more trains on the weekends on the half-hours so that meant more noise. Oh well...I didn't mind at all...cause I knew it gives me more service on the line to travel to the city if need be. |
