Understandable. But when the Cerro Wire Property off of Robbins Lane was suggested as an alternate to Huntington, the dead-heading argument was used against that site. That is an abandoned factory and not much of a view. It also looks like the Town of Oyster Bay doesn't want the Taubman Co. to build a mall there under any circumstance. Perfect spot for a lay-up yard It might also be an incentive to re-build/re-open the Landia station to take the parking pressure off of Syosset and Hicksville. |
