I always found myself near the northern end of the platform at 34th St. on the 6th Ave. line, always forgetting it's over 700 feet long, and having to make a mad dash when a 10-car D would pull in. Nowadays I have to remind myself that the lead motor almost always pulls up even with that interlocking signal on the platform. |
