I am surprised they never relegated the Oyster Beach branch to a "change at Mineola" shuttle during the day. If anything, it shouldn't matter whether they change to a Penn Station train at Mineola or Oyster bay. the only thing would be the current set up couldn't have an across the platform transfer, but instead a same platform transfer. |
