I agree about the Far Rock line!! People blow those crossings all the time, and yeah I seen stupidity at Doughty Blvd (Queens Native here :-)).

On the New Canaan Branch, in particular some bad crossings are Crescent Street (south of Glenbrook Station), Glenbrook Road (north of Glenbrook Station), Camp Avenue & Hoyt Street (both just less than a mile north of Springdale), and Talmadge Hill Road (at the south end of Talmadge Hill Station), where near misses and a good number of strikes due to idiocy by the local motorists and pedestrians is common, Hoyt Street being the worst, ask any New Canaan Branch-qualified engineer, and the funny thing is that people along the branch have tried to get the line to be classified a quiet zone.....not much luck yet, though!! :-D
